Interpreter Role Reminders
- ✔ Interpret everything the patient says — including emotional statements, hesitation, and correction attempts.
- ✔ Do not summarize, omit, or soften any statement — including distressing or sensitive content.
- ✔ If a patient uses a word you're unsure about, ask for clarification using interpreter protocol, then continue.
- ✔ For emergencies, interpret immediately and flag urgency: "The patient says this is an emergency…"
